Wanting:

PS: The mountain, she still burns.
PPS: I finally found out that cute Irish boi's name from work, sorta. He actually sat next to me (EEE!) and when he called the queue to go on break, I thought I overheard saying his name was Chris. Though he's still kyoot as ever, his voice is not what I imagined it would sound like.
Too many Ps and an S: I got my The Best of the Motels CD in the mail today. I *heart* it with all my heart and I will be jamming to this one for a while.

.
For a good two hours we talked and got to know each other a little better. I mean, I knew just about everything there is to know about him, and he's just too wonderful to explain without giving away his identity (cuz I don't want to spoil anything). And he got me to admit some truths that I've never told anyone that I've loved before. He's already gotten a feel for me on the inside through my diary, and I his, and have gotten to see how he looks. He however, got me to describe to him deep and personal stuff.
He's a lot more than any of the other men that I've loved. For they have only seen what's on the outside. He now knows what goes on on both planes and he still cares about me.
If it doesn't pan out into something more (cuz circumstance is a bitch like that), then I will still be happy to know that there's someone out there that cares.
And one will not guess what happened as I went on my way to pick up Matt from work, as I turned on the stereo, No Doubt's "Underneath It All" was playing. More specifically, the chorus where Ms. Stefani goes, You're really lovely
Underneath it all
You want to love me
Underneath it all
I'm really lovely
Underneath it all
And you're really lovely
I'm not reading too much into it, but it does kinda sound like a sign, nes pas?
Listen to me! I feel like I'm babbling like some 14-year-old girl in puppy love. All I know is that if it's meant to be, then sweet Alanis, it WILL be. If not, then I'm not worse off.
Goodnight!

Fox, Shaunda, Matt and I were doing our random hanging out at the University area and were following Fox in this random Follow-the-Leader thing he had going on. After going through every alley and side street on the entire campus, we eventually found ourselves at the new Underground activity area where they have some spiffy arcade games and billiards.
We eventually made our way over to the DDR machine and decided to take a stab and make ourselves look foolish by attempting to play it. After a disastrous first try in which we (okay, I) accidentally put the game on its hardest setting, we tried again, this time at the snail's paced beginner's level. That was a little better. Fox and I ended up with a "C" average.
Anyway, what we got from that was that it was some good and fun exercise. I know, I'm like three years behind as far as trends go, but Fox and I think that it would be a good idea to make it a regular thing. Matt suggested it would be a better idea to do this in the comfort of one's own home. Granted, in the long run I would be saving a buttload of money, there are two problems with that suggestion. One, we don't have the Playstation footpad that we need and two, we'd have to find a reliable place to do this. Matt suggested our place, but I don't know how long that would be able to be kept up. It's a good idea, but quite frankly, I like the newer arcade version over the dated PS one that Fox has.
But whatever, what matters is that one has fun and by gum it, I will make sure to that! As of this moment, I don't care too much about spending money if it's going to something good like the betterment of Fox's and my health. And when it does, I can always turn to my good friend eBay to find what we need.

I saw my most favorite movie on TV last night. No, it wasn't Muffy the Vampire Player. It was of course, The Breakfast Club. As far back as I can remember, that has been my all-time favorite film. In spite my mom saying that it was so boring because it has no action. But I beg to differ, all great movies have some kind of chase scene, and TBC is no exception; remember when they were running in the halls avoiding Vernon? Was that not a chase scene? But anyway, the one thing I seriously disliked was the horrendous dubbing they did. It's like watching some chessy imported anime or something. What boggles me even more is that this was shown on TBS, as it has been for years now, and I recall very clearly it having been better back then. What's more is that the movie started last night at 11:30, why do you need to censor out words like "bitch" and "ass" when most TV shows on during primetime gingerly pepper their dialogue with those such words?
But I've digressed. I have now made it my plan to one day be able to wear Molly Ringwald's outfit that she wore in that movie as a Halloween costume or something. That girl had some good style!
Well, I must finish getting ready for work.

So after I had finished writing back a what I had hoped was an equally hurtful email, I took a shower to calm my mind and relieve my body of the stank that tends to linger if I don't. Anyway, I get out and find that said friend wants to hang out and discuss things over coffee. I agree, I put on my new Coldplay concert shirt (Yay!), my cool blue plaid pajama bottoms, flip-flops, do my hair into two pigtails and my dark blue bandana. Yes, it was laundry day (which I'm still finishing up since I've just gotten in a while ago), though it was a tr chic look nonetheless. We met at the Starbucks at Park Place Mall and hung out for a while. We discussed many a gay thing and did a good job of pretending like the whole email incident never happened. Hey, I'm all for getting the problems out and resolved, but I think I actually prefer that both parties (or however many involved) know that something happened, realized that they were wrong, and try to move on without and uncomfortable discussions. Call me an avoid-ist (or whatever one who favors those situations), but that's the way I feel.
Anyway, after we had had our fill of coffinated beverages, we go back to his place for some dinner.
While I eat, Daniel puts in The Best Little Whorehouse in Tex-ASS, only because I spotted it on his DVD rack and my curiousity was peaked. Normally, I would find porn very sexy, but I guess it was due to the fact that I was watching it from an uncomfortable position or if it was just the film itself, but that porn made me laugh more than it turned me on. Though, there were some fookin' hot guys in it.
Next, Daniel puts in Swept Away. Yes, THE Swept Away. The Madonna/Guy Ritchie box office disaster Swept Away. To be quite honest, I had some curiousity about it, but I don't know if I would've ever seen it voluntarily. But, once I had finished watching it, I realized that it wasn't such a bad movie. Granted, there were some parts that I could've done without seeing, it was a good movie altogether. The ending was especially sad. Poor Madonna.
Anyway, once that was done, Daniel had to go pick up Nick from work. We parted our own separate ways and will probably meet back up again when Alex comes down from Seattle this Thursday.
From there, I joined Matt and everyone else for Club EON. It was a pretty happenin' dance. I got to bump it with this hot but tragically underage boy whom I would commit cold-blooded murder to have. I also got be all cool and ethereal when some good trance came on. I dunno, either I'm the world's biggest diludinoid, or I might just be as good as I think, but I was cutting it up pretty good out there. Let me tell you something, though having to dance barefoot for most of the time was not very comfortable, it sure is more comfortable and easier than doing it while wearing flip-flops.
Once the dance finished, a group of us (mostly dance facilitators and stuff) went and had a late night munchfest at the Village Inn on Speedway. I was under the impression that I was financially flatlining, so I didn't order anything. I'd have to make due with bumming leftover fries from Mikey and JC.
After that, we all disbanded and went to our respective homes. It was a nice weekend and I'm actually looking forward to going to work this week. I get to show off my swanky new shirt and hopefully see if I can get some fellow CP fans to gravitate towards me.
I love it when things work out fine in the end. God, I hope my laundry's done, I'm fookin' tired...
